General description: The proto-oncogene product c-Cbl (p120cbl) is a 120kD cytoplasmic protein found mainly in hematopoietic cell lines. It is located in the cytoplasm and cytoskeleton and has a crucial role in tyrosine kinase-dependent signaling pathways. It also has a pivotal role in hematopoietic cell kinase (Hck) induced signaling of hematopoietic cells. Anti-c-Cbl antibody can be used in immunoprecipitation for detecting and localizing c-Cbl. Rabbit anti-c-Cbl antibody reacts specifically with c-Cbl (120 kD) from human.
